What does a Design Engineer do?
A design engineer develops components of machinery, equipment, tools and products consisting of different materials for production. Taking account of parameters relating to materials and production, he elaborates concepts that meet the specified requirements. With the aid of modern CAD systems, he creates 3D models, 2D production and assembly drawings and he provides production-related data. He also provides support in the preparation of technical documentation for production part inspection procedures, operation and maintenance. Experienced design engineers deal with the design, calculation and simulation of components and systems.
